Summary

The 9th Meeting of the Global Task Force for Cholera Control (GTFCC) Working Group on Oral Cholera Vaccine, took place on October 11-12, 2022 at Les Pensières, Center for Global Health, Veyrier du Lac, France.

The annual working group meeting aims to bring together members, countries, research institutions, funders, vaccine manufacturers, and partners supporting development, emergency response, and field implementation to strengthen the Global Taskforce for Control Cholera partnership for the OCV pillar, to review progress on WG priorities, and provide an opportunity for partners and countries to engage and collaborate.

Through active discussions, the attending working group members reviewed progress on both working group (WG) 2022 activities and deployment of OCV to reach the roadmap goals, proposed concrete action to tackle challenges, reported on priority research progress and identified any additional research needs and WG priorities for 2023. Through working sessions, WG members were invited to review and revise critical guidance documents.
