Summary

The 9th Annual Meeting of the GTFCC Working Group on WASH took place from June 17-18, 2024 in Geneva (Switzerland) in hybrid format.

Objectives

The objectives of the meeting were to:

  • Elaborate the Wash Working Group (WWG) vision to help reach the GTFCC roadmap objectives by 2030.
  • Take an objective assessment of WASH activities since its launch. Identify silos, problems, and opportunities to guide our priorities for the next two years, and until 2030.
  • List the objectives, activities, and priorities for the 3 axes (prevention, control, and coordination).
  • Highlight activities that will be handle by the WWG alone, and activities that will be cross-pillar and/or need support of external partners/stakeholders.
  • Bring a focused message to the GTFCC AM (vision, objectives, constraints).
